This advanced-level course was designed specifically for The Back School and provides an advanced ergonomics assessment methodology. Designed by a Certified Professional Ergonomist, the course will teach participants to recognize, analyze, and recommend cost-effective ergonomics changes to the workplace, machines, hand tools, and work methods. Participants will also understand what drives customers to request professional ergonomics services.
In the intermediate-level CEAS™ II course, registrants practice using the REBA, RULA and Rodgers Muscle Fatigue Analysis. These tools are designed to evaluate individual task steps. You will learn the differences between and uses of these quantifiable evaluation tools; practical techniques for choosing cost effective solutions; and methods to compile concise client reports.
The CEAS™ I online class is a broad-based, introductory-level workshop. You will learn the foundations of basic OSHA-compliant ergonomics assessments on multiple task jobs, using the OSHA survey tools: W-1, D-2 and WAC. Covering ergonomics assessments in the office, industrial and healthcare environments, this class will help you establish a good solid foundation of understanding ergonomics and how to apply the principles of ergonomics best practices.
